Grad Guide
What to Wear: Girls
Most of our grads wear light blue or white mini dresses. Usually this is the dress you wear to graduation, that you would wear under your graduation gown.
Don’t be afraid to express yourself with your clothes. Colors, textures, and patterns can bring more personality to your photos.
When you wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident, your personality will shine through in the photos.
Casual + Second outfits
Gameday gear and jerseys are a popular casual option.
For shorter sessions, throw a jersey over your dress to switch up your look without a full outfit change. Some grads use oversized jerseys to fully cover their dress, while others tuck the jersey for a top + skirt look.
For longer sessions, your main outfit will capture the formal side of your graduation, but a second outfit lets you show off your personality. Mixing up your outfits adds visual variety to your gallery.
What to Wear: Guys
Most of our grads wear a blue or black suit. This can be worn with the jacket on and off. For a casual option, wear a button-down with chinos or dress pants.
Gameday gear and jerseys are popular second outfit options for all of our grads.
Group Sessions
For group photos, we recommend outfits that compliment rather than match. Most of our groups pick one color with a mix of white and neutrals. Common colors are light blue and navy.
